If you run a clinic and you are collecting quotes for a website, you have probably seen a range from 400 to over 2,000 euros for something that sounds identical on paper. It is not identical. The difference is not in the design, it is in whether the site does one specific job: giving a stranger who found you on their phone at 10 p.m. enough trust to book an appointment tomorrow.
Here is what really sits behind the two most common prices on the market, and how to tell which one you need.
For around 500 €: a digital business card
At this price, from most providers, you get a template site: a homepage with a photo, a list of services, a gallery, contact details and a map. That is a digital business card.
And to be fair: if your patients come purely by referral, and you only need the site to exist when someone checks you out, a business card can be a perfectly rational choice.
The problem starts when you expect the site to bring you patients. A business card does not do that, because it is missing everything that decides: no online booking, no separate pages per service, no local Google visibility, and often the team and credentials are not presented properly either. The patient takes a look, finds no reason to trust you, and goes back to the search results. We wrote about this in detail in why a website brings no enquiries.
For around 1,500 €: a website that brings patients
More serious offers on the market for clinics include things that are not obvious at first glance but change the outcome:
1. Online booking. A patient who has to call tomorrow morning is a patient who might give up tonight. A booking form or calendar turns an evening decision into a booked appointment, and takes part of the phone load off your assistant.
2. A separate page for each main service. "Services" dumped onto a single page do not rank for anything. A page for prosthetics, a page for implants, a page for whitening: that is what Google shows when someone types exactly that service and your part of town.
3. Local Google visibility. Someone is typing "dentist Vračar" or "gynaecologist Novi Sad" right now. A tidy Google Business Profile, reviews and SEO fundamentals decide whether that search ends up with you or with a colleague two streets away. Fewer than 20% of businesses in Serbia use this actively.
4. Trust at first glance. Photos of the team and the space, credentials, answers to the questions patients actually ask. When choosing a doctor, trust is not an add-on to the site, it is the whole job of the site.
5. Speed and mobile. More than 70% of patients look from a phone, often from the waiting room of another clinic.
The real math is not 500 vs 1,500
A difference of 1,000 euros looks large until you compare it with the value of a single patient. An average patient who stays with you is worth tens of thousands of dinars a year, comes for years, and brings their family. If the more expensive site brings a single new patient a month, the difference pays for itself within a few months, and everything after that is profit.
So the real question is: do you need the site to exist, or to work? We covered pricing and hidden costs more broadly in our guide to website prices in Serbia.
How we do it
For clinics we do not sell a "website", we sell a system for new patients: a site with online booking, pages per service, a tidy Google Business Profile and monthly maintenance with content changes. A fixed price, online in 10 working days or you don't pay for the build. No technical stress: you send what you have, we sort out the rest.
Frequently asked questions
Yes, because the phone works during office hours, but patients decide in the evening. Booking does not replace your assistant, it catches the patients the phone misses.
Portals are someone else's house: you stand shoulder to shoulder with the competition, and you cannot fully control your profile. Your own site is the only place where the patient sees only you.
With us, 10 working days from the moment we receive your materials, guaranteed in the contract.

I've been building websites since 2015 and I run every project personally, from the first call to launch. We use AI to be fast, not to be cheap and generic.
Your site online in 5 days or you don't pay for the build. The free review takes 30 minutes.
